To comply with federal privacy legislation, this statement is meant to describe what types of identifiable information about our customers (“Personal Information”) we collect and use, why we do so and whether and to whom we disclose it. It also describes how you can contact our Privacy Officer with any inquiries or complaints, or to exercise your rights under the Privacy Laws, including your right to access and correct or remove your Personal Information.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY

We may collect -
* Contact information such as your Name, Address, Phone Numbers and email address
* Information on Your Pool or Spa and Equipment – make, model, size, age & condition
* Information on Your Chemical Usage and water test history
* A list of your purchases from us
* Information as regards to your preferences and requirements

If we have been to see your pool or spa for service or some other reason, we may also collect -
* Your 911 address, and directions
* Information as to gate or door access and on your dogs
* A record of any service work done or needed
* Copies of quotes

For Service customers and others with charge accounts, we will also keep -
* Your Payment history

We will use this information to –
* Establish your requirements and preferences and, to the best of our ability, provide you with the products and services that meet them.
* Administer your account, including billing and collection.
* Send out information to you about events, and products and specials.
* Contact you about service work, specials requests or with answers to questions, or if you forgot something at the store.
* Determine eligibility for-
* Credit
* Warranties or Return of Goods
* Special services and discounts

At Your Request, we may keep your credit card number on file to be used, only according to your instructions to us, to make payments to us.

WHO WE SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH:

Unless the customer authorizes us to release it, or release is required or permitted by law, we will not disclose Personal Information to third parties except as noted below. In particular, we will never sell Personal Information to third parties.

We may share personal information with other companies we work closely with such as South Coast Pools and Fausto Construction. If the work you want or need is outside our area of expertise, we may ask one of them to help us. If South Coast Pools installed or refurbished your pool, we, as their designated service company, may share with them any information we have on your pool.

In order to process warranty claims on any items purchased by you, we may need to provide your personal information to the distributor or manufacturer of that item.

If you sell the property where your inground pool is located, or if you sell your pool, spa or equipment to someone else, we may use any information we have about that pool, spa or equipment to help the new owner.
