Edgil Pool Services LTD.

In 1973 Edgil Bros. Construction Limited was established by Ed and Gil Guimaraes (hence Edgil). Over the next 35 years, operating as Edgil Pools, they built over 1600 wonderful pools. Customers take great pride in these creations and real estate listings often mention an ‘Edgil pool’. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Gil passed away suddenly in November 2008. Ed kept the company going for one more year in order to fulfill existing commitments but Edgil Bros. Construction Limited closed in November 2009.

Edgil Pool Services Ltd is owned and operated by Phil and Sigi Guimaraes. We began by working for Edgil Bros Construction. In 1981 we purchased the swimming pool service and supply division of Edgil Pools to provide a dedicated service operation for pool owners. Back then it was just the two of us. Now Edgil Pool Services Ltd. has almost 20 employees and 5 service vehicles on the road to help meet our customer’s needs. In 2006 we outgrew the old store on Highway 3 and built a new one at 38 Luscombe Dr., Simcoe.

Even though Edgil Bros Const. Ltd. has closed, we intend to continue providing great service to all our existing and new customers for many years to come.

Applications are always welcome, especially from experienced pool service technicians, but we offer a variety of job opportunities for summer students. Student applications should be in by the end of March. We also hire extra staff for September and October to help close pools.

Our return policy All stock items may be returned for store credit within 30 days but must be in saleable condition. Special orders are not returnable.
